Swiss Society for Financial Market Research
The Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (SGF) was founded in 1986 by Werner Rein and a group of Swiss economists. The main purpose of the Society is to promote modern finance and to improve the dialogue between academics and practitioners in this field. To achieve this, the society publishes the quarterly journal “Financial Markets and Portfolio Management” (FMPM) and organizes the annual SGF Conference. The current president of the society is Stefan Beiner.

Financial Markets and Portfolio Management (FMPM) is the quarterly finance journal published by the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research since 1987. The journal invites submissions of original research articles in all areas of finance. The current co-editors of FMPM are Prof. Dr. Florian Weigert and Prof. Dr. Tim Kroencke.

The Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (SGF Conference) invites paper submissions on all topic areas of finance. The SGF Conference is currently organized by the Department of Finance, University of Zurich.
